CAOS
NYCU
5th Conference on Advanced Organic Synthesis
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
Hsinchu, Taiwan
About
The applications of organic synthesis are undoubtedly broad, covering the production of drugs, fine chemicals, new materials, and functional polymers, to name a few. Organic reactions are mostly predictable and under control, but unexpected transformations could occur, making organic synthesis look chaotic but, in a positive sense, serendipitous. The aim of the Conference on Advanced Organic Synthesis (CAOS) is to bring our colleagues and students closer to the state of the art of organic synthesis with eyes fully open to the chaotic (unpredictable) nature of synthetic chemistry. It should be full of fun!
